We are about halfway between you & the port. Probably a 10 minute taxi drive at most. We are not familiar with the area in the Gap where the Fish Fry is, so can't suggest a place to meet.

Anyone else have any suggestions???

I think that maybe meeting up on board at "Gypsy Rose", after lunch on board would be good. Some of us from previous cruises are meeting there. Lunch is right after boarding so after that we'll head to Gypsy Rose.

Can't come soon enough!!!

The 17th is fine for us. Even if we don't hook up,which would be fun, I think we will check it out on the 17th. Julie, are you staying anywhere near us pre cruise?

Happy New Year Julie and Phyl. Our travel to New Brunswick was 3 hours delayed going down and a day delayed coming back (fog) Now at the cottage...-20 but bright and sunny.

Happy New Year everyone!  By the way, Windstar will be serving a lovely embarkation buffet for lunch, so plan on having lunch on board on the 18th!

See you soon!

Hang on, people keep talking about Oistins on the 18th but we will be on board then. If we meet, I guess it has to be the 17th.

Hi Madge. How did you fare with your Xmas travels? Happy New Year!

We are arriving on the 14th and staying at the Southern Palms. Would love to meet up on the 17th or 18th for drinks and the fish fry. Will watch for details.

Sorry everyone - Windstar has changed their boarding time from 3pm to 1:30pm - which is great for us!

For those of you arriving on the day of embarkation (Jan. 18) prior to 12 noon, we suggest you take a cab to the Accra Beach Hotel where you can store your luggage "FOR FREE" now, and relax, have breakfast before the Windstar transfer leaves at 1pm for the ship.

Those arriving on Jan. 18 after 12 noon should pick up their Windstar transfers direct from the airport.

Again, we must have this information either sent to us at guestservices@olivia.com or updated on your travel profile.

Those who are arrriving prior to January 18, you are welcome to come to the Accra Beach Hotel for the transfer, but we need to know if you are coming. It may just be cheaper for you to get a cab directly to the ship, depending on where you hotel is located.

For specific questions, feel free to email me directly at jillc@olivia.com

See you soon!

Hi Ladies!

The countdown is on! Oistins is a fun night out! Let us know who's in. The fish fry is sort of in a town square and could be a hard locale in which to meet up, so maybe we want to meet at a bar in St. Lawrence Gap first and head over together...just a thought.

We're at Coral Mist for 4 nights prior to trip.  Were you thinking dinner at Oistin's or some other spot for a pre-trip cocktail party?  We've never been to the West Indies islands.  Looking forward to it.  Did you know about the international jazz festival in Bridgetown?

A precruise cocktail sounds great Tracy.

Have you been to any of the other islands that we are visiting? We look forward to visiting some new places & to comments/advice from anyone who has been there. We've been to St. Martin & St.Kitts/Nevis (The latter, many years ago & before it became a popular tourist area so there must be many changes) Lots to do in St. Martin, including wonderful beaches (Some clothing optional), wonderful restaurants &, maybe, a trip to the Dutch side (St. Maarten) to enjoy great duty shopping , casinos etc.

Four months today we leave for Barbados, time will fly by!!

Julie
