To all travelers of Galapagos 1,

Greetings to all travelers of Galapagos 1! My partner an I are currently booked on Galapagos 2 from Nov 22-Dec 1. We own a veterinary hospital in New Jersey and are active in animal rights and spay/neuter projects. We are involved in Vets without Borders who travel internationally similar to Doctors without Borders. A parent organization, WorldVets, is establishing the 1st spay clinic in Tena, Ecuador. This areas current means of animal control is posioning. We welcome all to visit WorldVets.org to become informed with their wonderful programs.

The Tena, Ecuador clinic and spay/neuter marathon is scheduled for Nov 3-12. Our currently scheduled G2 trip will make it impossible for us to attend both of these events with our current schedule. We are hoping to find someone that will be willing to switch trips with us so we could do the Tena clinic from Nov3-12 and G1 from Nov 15-24. As it is now we would have to fly back to the states for 2 weeks and our work schedule would be a nightmare.

We are booked in the superior outside stateroom in G2. We understand that many have booked their flights and trip extensions already. We would be happy to pay rebooking fees. We hope if possible, you will consider the change. In addition, any animal lovers that would want to volunteer their services pretrip, WorldVets could certainly use your help.
